Meditation Session (week four event)

I am not really great at relaxing. My body is always tense. I have fast reflexes due to the fact Im paranoid. I get startled pretty easily and have punched people because of it. So my room mate/ best friend tells me about going to the meditation session they offer in the events for the week. I never have meditated before so I was curious to see what the fuss was all about. We head there and we are on the dot of time. The lady in the room was so tall. I felt even shorter than I already do and I'm 5'6. This lady had such a soothing voice. We sit down on square cushions on the floor. She asked us a couple of questions. She told us to relax and keep our mind empty. There was nature sound music playing in the back ground and I forgot I was in the room. She told us to picture a meadow and a sunny day. I visualized myself in a meadow of flowers and sun flowers. I was laying in the middle and was staring at the nice blue sky and white fluffy clouds. I was in this thought for about forty minutes. My body was so flimsy and stretchy. I didn't feel tense or uptight. I thought of nothing for the first time.The lady told us to wake and come back to the room slowly. I opened my eyes and smiled. The lady asked us questions and we said good bye. I felt new again. I don't know what the hell happened but I for sure wanted to do meditation again. I loved this event! It was too bad that the classes were cancelled after that due to the fact that not many students attended. I wish people would have gone. I got mad. Anyways, this event was awesome!
