Blog 2 Plagiarism articles Response

For once, I am surprised at how plagiarism can have such great consequences. Plagiarism was never my thing and is still isn’t due to the fact that I love to create my own work and use only my ideas as much as possible through out my writing. There are students out there who are different and don’t feel the need to be an independent writer. It’s sad to hear that students copy and paster and do not even bother crediting the author or cite the resource. Students can make up the lamest excuse for plagiarizing. This is the problem when students can literally go online and just use whatever information they want freely. Books do distinguish themselves from the cyber articles but it’s not an explanation worthy of plagiarism. Students just need to stop being illogical and correctly burrow the works of others by simply citing their sources. It’s common respect as intellectuals.

Librarian Blog post

The librarians lecture  was pretty entertaining. i enjoyed her enthusiastic presentation.I love books so I was a little jealous that she is the school librarian. She said that a great school has a great library and this is very true. Books are just a must even if not all students like them. She mentions that she really likes college students because they are good looking which was pretty funny. I expected the whole plagiarism lecture because she is a librarian . I learned about that since middle school. I also like the fact that she is not from here she's actually from London and that's used to have an accent  before which pretty incredible because she doesnt have it anymore. I really enjoyed the career counseling place.. I never knew that having a job would be so difficult especially you have to kind of be out there like you have to go get some help.People have to look at your resume. You can't just do things by yourself. It is really convenient especially for students like me who don't have any experience but do you want to work that's nice that they help you here.

Ist Blog Post: Intro

Hello there! My name is Natalia Guadalupe Valle. I am a decade and eight years old. I am from downtown Los Angeles. I live about five minutes from the tall famous buildings in LA. I used to live in an apartment building where you can climb to the roof and see the beautiful view of these buildings. I am tall, skinny, athletic, and quiet. I am a blunt and sarcastic person. I have a heavy humor so if you can't handle my jokes I apologize in advance. As a student, I am very hard working and dedicated. I was top ten percent in my school and graduated with honors. I love math and science. My weakness is writing. I love to learn new things. I have played many sports in high school. I have played volleyball for almost seven years. I am a sprinter as well. I am competitive. I am interested in many things. I am a biology major and will probably seek another major or minor in math and music. I want to fully learn how to play the piano and guitar. I want to learn about the research happening here in UCSB and maybe even start one of my own. I want to learn how to play lacrosse. There is also a balance that many students talk about that they learn or accomplish as they settle in college. I want to find this balance. I want to learn as many names of freshman and meet as many people as I can.
